Anthony’s approach and therapy style is summarised below:
“I strive to promote and practice the principles of client-centred therapy with unconditional positive regard, empathy, and congruence towards a safe environment for clients to share their feelings, thoughts, and goals in therapy.
I support individual clients and couples from various perspectives. The evidence-based interventions in which I have experience include: cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, eye movement desensitisation reprocessing, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief therapy.
I believe a collaborative and genuine approach facilitates a space for clients to increase their emotional understanding, insight, and coping, as well as exploring reasonable, practical, and overall helpful strategies”.
