David works with Children, Adolescents and Adults, and is available for consultation on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

David has extensive experience in providing psychological strategies and interventions to individuals, families, and couples. He delivers a variety of psychological approaches including CBT, ACT, mindfulness practice, systemic family practice, positive behaviour support, EMDR, narrative therapy, solution focused brief therapy and motivational interviewing. David’s passions within psychology include an interest in neuroscience and provision of psychoeducation, metacognitive therapy, mindfulness strategies, physiology, behavioural activation, systemic therapy, and aligning himself with client strengths and capacities. He is effective in supporting client change (when applicable) through a compassionate, kind, flexible and playful approach.

 

David has worked with a wide range of people and ages with varying levels of capabilities, capacity and disability, often presenting with comorbid diagnoses of: autism, intellectual disability, ADHD, psychosis, trauma, brain injury, attachment and anxiety disorders.
